Position Summary:
Reporting directly to the CEO, the Marketing & Sales Manager will lead Biomatcan’s commercial strategy. This role involves both strategic marketing leadership and hands-on sales execution, with an emphasis on expanding adoption of our novel bone graft solutions among orthopedic surgeons, hospitals, and clinics.
You will act as a bridge between product development and the field, playing a critical role in shaping our product positioning, strengthening customer relationships, and driving revenue growth.
What You’ll Do:
Sales & Business Development (50%)
- Identify, target, and grow key accounts in orthopedic, trauma segments.
- Lead sales meetings, presentations, and clinical discussions with surgeons and healthcare professionals.
- Support tenders, pricing strategy, and hospital procurement processes.
- Track sales performance and maintain customer records in CRM.
- Build and maintain distributor and KOL networks.
- Develop and execute Canadian marketing plans and launch strategies.
- Create targeted sales tools, clinical decks, and product messaging.
- Organize surgeon workshops, webinars, and tradeshow presence.
- Gather market insights and customer feedback to guide product decisions.
- Collaborate with international teams on branding, training, and market alignment.
What You Bring:
- 5+ years of experience in marketing, product management, or sales within the orthopedic or medical device industry.
- Proven ability to independently drive sales and develop market presence in a clinical environment.
- Strong understanding of the Canadian healthcare system and hospital procurement.
- Bilingual in English & French is a strong asset.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; confident engaging with surgeons.
- Comfortable working in a small company environment: hands-on, adaptable, and self-motivated.
